Soraya Shattuck has spent the past seven years helping businesses integrate lean, environmental, and energy efficiencies into their processes. With a B.A in Operations Management, a Sustainable MBA from Pinchot University in Organizational Leadership, and a Certificate in Sustainable Built Environment (under the mentorship of the founder of the International Living Futures Institute, Jason F. McLennan), Soraya enhanced her knowledge about the role of sustainability in systems thinking, social justice, and business culture. She is very excited to use this to inspire positive change and drive increased environmental and social responsibility within the tourism industry.

Her peers and colleagues have described Soraya as an inquisitive, ecological adventurer. Since moving from Kenya to the Pacific Northwest fifteen years ago, her passion for exploring nature’s playground has continued to grow exponentially. From an incredibly young age, Soraya was given the opportunity to explore different parts of the world. She now holds an extensive travel resume of visiting over 30 countries before the age of 30, and has her sights on visiting her final continent, Australia, in the near future.
